Nicky Allen is a Melbourne based digital illustrator specializing in creating captivating illustrations and dynamic motion graphics inspired by lived experiences and the surrounding environment.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, she brings unique and imaginative concepts to life through printed and digital art pieces.
Nicky says 'Layering and translucent imagery are a constant in my artwork. AMUSE, WOW and ENGAGE are my core aims and I look to entertain the viewer on multiple levels.
My Story
Originally from Brighton in the UK, I relocated to Melbourne in 2000 having studied design at Central St Martins and completed a BA in Fashion Design at Northumbria university.
Initially collaborating with local artists and designers including Nicola Cerini, Chiodo menswear and Spacecraft Art studio I then proceeded to have a diverse career in sales, logistics and stakeholder performance strategies.
In 2022 I revisited my roots in drawing and design and became obsessed with digital illustration.
